These cushions have been made by a group of designers and artisans dedicated to reviving ancestral techniques of natural dying in Bangladesh. A social project concerned with craft heritage but also artisan welfare and the promotion of sustainable, ecological practices in the textile industry. All dyes are sourced locally and where possible use waste products (such as fruit peels and tree bark) or by products to create the colour. Colour: Indigo (Indigofera Tinctoria) One of the most sought after and recognisable colours on the planet. Care: please wash by hand or on a cold wash separately due to the dark vegetable dyes used.
